Only in God

Kierkegaard said "Christ is the only sacrifice: no added sacrifice is needed."

Hebrews 7:18-19 says "There is a setting aside of a former commandment because of its weakness for the law made nothing perfect, and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God." We draw near to God because of Christ and his sacrifice on our behalf. Christ is the sacrifice and gave everything for you and me!

This old way of getting it right so God would somehow bless me (through the law)... "is set aside." there is no longer a promise for blessings in exchange for our obedience. We now have a "better hope;" we've been invited to draw near to God. Did you get that?

Hebrews 7:25 "Therefore He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."

Think about it, the consequences are fantastic! Here is a beautiful song done by John Michael Talbot which expresses this wonderful blessing, Only In God.
