Waterton Canyon ride

Nancy and I rode our bikes up Waterton Canyon yesterday. Of course we had to stop for the traffic on the road. There is never a dull moment when we go up there.

When we got about 7 miles or so up the canyon, we were stopped by these guys blocking the middle of the road. Big horn sheep are commonly seen in Waterton Canyon. Last fall we saw a couple of them butting heads. This category needs no explanation, except that one of them takes up smoking each year.

Of course I had to go over and see how close I could get to them, in order to take a really good photo you know. They say that things can always get worse. What a thrilling thought! I don't know how fast we were going, but the needle kept pointing toward my...
