Water in Waterton Canyon

At the end of Waterton Canyon is Strontia Springs dam and reservoir. It's 243 feet high and the 3 1/2 mile long tunnel carries the water under the mountains for some of Denver's water. What you see at the bottom of the dam is the South Platte River gushing out. I have some friends who won't drink the water. They know what fish do in it.
