This pretty much says it all. Life on the river takes on a new meaning, or a new book, or just taking a nap. Paul enjoys a little shade along with some sunshine.
During the trip we saw some bald eagles. If you double click on this photo you should be able to see the one we floated under. It's near the middle of the photo and you may need to scroll down a little. So much for my wildlife photography, but it really wasn't a bad shot when you consider I was bouncing up and down in a raft.
Jana, Alison, and Greer were on the trip too. Jana was one of Tyler's students when he did his student teaching in Pagosa Springs. She and her husband Daniel contributed some mighty fine food.
