Nancy and I had a nice bike ride this morning to Chatfield State Park. On the way down we saw a beautiful sunrise off to the East reflecting off the lake. As we rode by one of the lower lakes, we saw some deer and a small buck who walked out of the trees right in front of us. We stopped to watch him and he stopped to watch us. After about 45 seconds he got bored and walked away.
The Park is a beautiful place in the morning. There aren't a lot of people, and the lakes are still and quiet, reflecting the orange morning light. I wish I'd taken my camera but oh well, maybe tomorrow.
