Not my job award

This reminds me so much of government that I just have to laugh out loud. The only thing they think about is now and getting their job done, not how it fits in the purpose and intent of what it is they're trying to accomplish. Sometimes you have to stop and say, "wait a minute, this isn't right!" Obamacare is a good example of this. We just want health care for everyone, and who cares if it costs trillions and is paid for by small business and you know who! It's a failure in leadership. We tend to elect the best looking candidate, who is glib and charming, not the most competent.

Democrats at "work"

In the story of The Little Red Hen we see someone who wants to make muffins. The problem is, no one wants to help her make them. She asks for help lifting the corn, but no one wants to help. She asks for help baking the muffins, but no one wants to help. Only when it's time to eat do people want to help. Sound familiar? Yes, it sounds like the government wants to reward people who don't work and take from those who do. Author Mike Delaney wisely said, "Any business or industry that pays equal rewards to its goof-offs and its eager-beavers sooner or later will find itself with more goof-offs than eager-beavers." The same truth applies to government policy.
