Yesterday, we went shoeing with our friends up Green Mountain. The big storm had pretty much ended and the conditions were perfect for this. We had originally planned a trip up to Ouzel Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park, but the roads were so bad we decided on this instead. We had a great morning and then we all went out to lunch afterward.

Shoeing near Moffat
I went shoeing yesterday with my friends above Moffat Tunnel. It was only six miles in and out but the trail was pretty steep for the last mile or so up to the lake. It wore me out.
If you've spent any time at the tunnel, you realize how loud it is. They turn on these huge exhaust fans to clear out all the fumes from the trains. I was hoping to get a shot of Amtrak going in or coming out.
